With customer demands increasing Paul Isherwood the MD at Counterplas decided it was time to move the business forward so as to create manufacturing capacity through the reduction of waste rather than through capital investment in more machinery; however they were already in the process of up grading some of their moulding machines.
The first team of 5 completed the Lean Academy’s 12 week rapid improvement workshop in December of last year Paul Isherwood has stated that the business has benefited in many ways from this process.
